TFM Conferences

WHAT IS THE WILL OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE?

The main speaker was pastor Maxime Ndazinda from Rwanda, who now lives in Belgium. Pastor Maxime travels regularly to the countries of Scandinavia, and he is a much appreciated speaker in different conferences. Maxime Ntazinda used chairs to illustrate how we can chose to position ourselves in a place where God can bless us the way he wants, that is, in the place of fellowship with Jesus and obediance to God. The blessing will not move to us when we are still in a place of disobediance, it is we who have to move to the place where the blessing is.

STREET MEETINGS!

20-22/4 we had special outdoor meetings in Karl Johan where we preached the gospel to the people of Oslo. Pastor Osee and Louise Ntavuka were with us together with the worship team from their church, All Nations International Church in Plymouth, England. There were open air meetings on Friday and Saturday, and of course the team from England were also with us in the Sunday service.

In March 2007, 24-25/3, we had a special seminar with Stephen Mc Dowell from USA. Topic:

HOW TO LIBERATE A NATION

Stephen McDowell, President and co-founder of the Providence Foundation, has traveled to 40 states and 15 nations in six continents, teaching tens of thousands of people from about 100 different countries. He has consulted with numerous government officials, assisted in writing political documents, aided in establishing political parties, and helped start a number of private schools as well as classes on godly reformation. He has authored and co-authored several books and videos, and written scores of articles for various publications. He is a teacher at University of Virginia, and he frequently speaks on TBN, the biggest Christian TV-station in America.

We were very priviledged to have him as our guest speaker in the springtime of this year. His topic was "How to Liberate a Nation", and it dealt with how we can change our society by bringing godly values into civil areas like education, laws and justice, economy and business and politics. If you want to know more about Stephen Mc Dowell, please visit his website, www.providencefoundation.com.

Europe for Jesus
29-31 of December

The last days of December we had a New Years Conference with many specially invited pastors, worship leaders and musicians. This was a great way to finish the year of 2006 and enter into the year of 2007.

This was the first international conference that took place in Holy Church of Jesus. We received preachers and singers as well as participants in the conference from many different nations.

The main guest preachers were:

Robin Coster, pastor in Gøteborgskyrkan, Sweden. A dynamic and anointed preacher, radical in his faith and with a big heart for people. He preached about taking the land and overcoming the giants.

Dr Paul Agnew, healing evangelist from Ireland. He travels much in Spanish speaking countries, and he witnessed about Jesus healing blindness, deafness, paralysis and more.

Lutachukwu, a wellknown pastor in Nigeria, which is a country that experiences revival. He is an eloquent speaker and God uses him much in healing ministry, and also in releasing financial breakthrough over people's lives.

Even ev. Jan Roger Voll from Bergen, pastor Jean Paul Nkisi from England, pastor Christian Wendesten from Gøteborg and other pastors were together with us during these days. We also had several guest worship leaders in the conference:

Appollinaire Habonimana, Burundi, is probably the most well-known worship leader in Burundi and Rwanda. He has recorded several CD:s in England.

Heike Barth, Germany, has been a full-time musician since 20 years. She got saved eight years ago in the Pensacola revival, and since then she has used her musical talent both in worship leading and in reaching out to non-believers.See www.two-of-us.finestwebs.net

Prophet Abraham Laisina, Holland. See www.dominioncentre.net He has his own unique style of leading a congregation in dynamic, prophetic worship.

Even Jean-Marie Ndayikengurukiye with his team from Holland, Leif Ingvald Skaug from Norway and Annika Emrén from Sweden led worship during the conference.

We had the conference in the main hall of the church of Filadelfia, Oslo, Norway. There were evening meetings as well as seminars, and we ended the conference with a big crescendo with a whole night worship concert at New Years night. Imagine to begin the year with praising the Lord for hours together with different frontline worship leaders!

CONFERENCE

On the 24-26 of March 2006 we had a conference with the title "Remove your mountain in Filadelfia Church, Oslo.

The program was:

Friday 24/3 18.00     Bishop Byamungu Matheus

Saturday 25/3 18.00 Pastor Tormod Søbyskogen

Sunday 26/3 16.00   Bishop Byamungu Matheus + Pastor S J Saflo

Bishop Byamungu Matheus is the leader of CTMC, Christian Tanzanian Methodist Church, one of the dynamic and growing church movements in Tanzania. His preachings are very inspiring and faith-building, and they are often underlined by his own interesting, and many times breathtaking, testimonies. He prays for the sick, and has a special anointing to pray for barren women to get children.

Pastor Tormod Søbyskogen is one of the assisting pastors of OKS, Oslo Kristne Senter. He is responsible for the missions work of the congregation, and he has a heart to reach out with the gospel. He preaches with a strong evangelistic anointing.

Pastor S J Saflo is a prophet/evangelist, with a call to travel for the Lord, as well as building His church locally. Many people have been saved, healed and blessed through his ministry, which often involves prophetic messages to the lives of individuals.

Report from the conference:

It is with joy and gratitude we look back at the conference ”Remove your mountain!”. Together we shared many good moments of rejoicing, of worship, of prayer and of listening to the word of God, and we went home built up and refreshed in the spirit. We spent much time praising the Lord in different languages and cultural expressions. Of course together with our own worship team, but also with different guest singers. We were blessed by the presence of family Nhonzi in the conference.

It’s really wonderful to see a whole big family serving the Lord together as a team. They are big enough to make a small choir, singing with different voices, as well as having a complete band with guitar, bass guitar and drums! We also had as our guests pastor Daniel from Iran with some of the members of Disco Church. Everybody was touched when Daniel shared with passion about the good work they are doing. He also praised the Lord with some songs in Farsi.

We were also excited to watch our newly formed group of Rwandese/Burundi cultural dance, led by Gloria Bihayi. They express the joy of the Lord in their own very special and unique way. And when our own Alain Rutaganda was rapping for the Lord, the whole meeting was boiling with excitement.

On Friday night Bishop Byamungu shared a message from two similar scriptures, one from the beginning and one from the end of Jesus’ ministry. In both scriptures Peter has been out fishing all night without catching one single fish. Despite his own experience and knowledge he takes out his boat to the deep water and throws out the nets again, only because it’s Jesus who tells him to do so. And he gets so much fish, that he has to call for his friends to help him.

The message for us is: “Throw your net in the Lords direction!”, that is, don’t trust in your own knowledge and experience, but learn to listen to the Lord, and when he tells you to do something, just do it, and you will have success. Byamungu gave us a living example from his own main church in Dar-Es-Salaam. Just like the nets of Peter burst, he said: “Our nets burst! We had to make big holes in the walls of our church building, because the church couldn’t contain all who wanted to get in. So they had to sit on the outside and look into the church through the holes in the wall, and that way they could listen to the preaching. Now we are building a new church.”

On Saturday night we had a guest, Øyvind Kleveland, who led the meeting. He emphasized the theme of the conference and encouraged us to have faith in God. The message on Saturday night, given by pastor Tormod Søbyskogen, had the title: “The gospel of reconciliation”. In a very colourful way he painted the history of mankind, from the innocence and harmony in the beginning, when Adam and Eve lived in fellowship with God, and how the fall changed the whole situation. Man became an enemy of God and God became a foreigner to man.

But from the very beginning God said he would make a solution, and during the following millenniums, now and then some prophets got a glimpse of what was going to come, and they longed for it to happen. But now we are not hoping any longer, today it’s history. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, both the ones we have already committed, as well as all our future sins, so that we can be forgiven and have eternal life in a restored fellowship with God. And we didn’t lift even one finger to make it happen. It was all God’s plan, God’s initiative and God’s work. We can’t deserve salvation, all we have to do is to receive it and be happy, free from guilt and shame.

On Sunday night Bishop Byamungu preached from Deut. 2:1-3 and Mark 11:23. In the first scripture God tells the Israelites that they have been walking around a certain mountain for long enough. Now it’s time to change direction. In the second scripture Jesus tells his disciples that if they have faith they can speak to the mountain, and it will move away. Byamungu also referred to Acts 3:1-10, where we meet a lame man who has been begging outside the temple for a long time. Suddenly, by the power of the name of Jesus, the man is healed, and he follows the disciples into the temple, jumping and dancing.

In all those scriptures we see a negative situation, which finally becomes too much, and we cry out: “Enough is enough!” And God changes the whole situation. It’s the same for you, no matter what is your problem. It may be sickness, financial problems, depression, drugs, cigarettes, and you have no solution of your own. But cry out to God, put your faith in him and he can turn it all around and remove your mountain!
